A young soldier in a hole dug barely covered it, scared and her heart pounding with fear that produced the sound of bombs and bullets whistling murderer, looking forward a little calm to head out. When chaos gave a short truce was incorporated slowly to assess their sad situation to see, almost stopped in the air and over time, an accurate pointing bullet to his head. He should have died at that moment, it was up, but instead saw a beautiful girl who extended his hand and offered to accompany her. Who was she? What was there in the middle of a war? Ride what you offer? Many response measure but only a decision that flowed from the heart: join and leave with her where I had a good take, and nothing mattered.
The first stop was in the enemy camp, and scattered bodies mutilated by a grenade presented a distressing spectacle, a group of young men maimed by the grenade that had just released our guardsman just a few moments lying with cold and frightened faces. They did not seem bloodthirsty monsters on their way to destroy your home and kill his family, as they had told their superiors. The following stops at that beautiful girl, who was none other than Death, he took were an escalation in explaining meaninglessness of war. The soldier could see and hear how they talked the generals who mentioned the futility of battle and the sacrifice of lives would be useless, very well protected at a distance from the line of fire, of course. He could see how politicians of the two countries were locked in a dispute unresolved for a handful of gold, a pool of oil, water reserves.
Finally, he saw with horror, as a large group of big shots, around a luxurious corporate table, they took account of dividends that will occur if the war dragged on, (sale of ammunition, sale of tanks, mines, death). A story that fits with astonishing accurately the reality of our modern times, a story that involves new themes for children and away from other literature that we have created to build the children's farmyard in which we try to keep them.
