A rabbit-guard
A rabbit yearning for knowledge is about the public library in her small town, Cerro Two Rabbits, on the shelf stops on zoology and is preoccupied with a book entitled, "Wolves" . What strange animal is this?, Confused and think our little aware bunny. So fill out the form and still reading the book walks through the city to his home. "Gray wolves live in packs of two to ten individuals," reads, but it is not clear if the pictures as actual book in hand or the fevered imaginations of our protagonist, it seems that a group of fierce wolves out of a box ready to put away what they put in front.
"They can live anywhere from the Arctic Circle to the outskirts of towns and cities, read, and it seems that a wolf disguised as a peasant from a village looms. So absorbed in his reading, our white rabbit finds these interesting animals that feed on deer, elk and other animals such as beavers, voles and cone ...! So, turning the page, we can only see the book from the library on the pavement, all frayed and worn by a ferocious attack. What happened to the rabbit reader? The story is open ended, or rather, two endings, one for the most sensitive.
This album has been awarded the Kate Greenaway Medal 2006 for best picture book, a distinction that deserves far. While the textual narrative basically maintains a slow and gentle speech, the graphic narrative, an excellent counterpoint, provides all the literary tension that makes this story a title that would honor any library.
